U.S. maintains top spot in FIFA Women
Zurich, Switzerland – The U.S. women's national team, which recently captured its third straight Olympic gold, remained first in the FIFA Women's Rankings released Friday.
The United States extended its cushion to 53 points over second-place Germany, while 2011 World Cup winner Japan remained third after it won Olympic silver.
